How to play
Six works, one tower
- 01
Find the work
The tower holds 36 titles; six belong to the day's author. Tap a block and pull it; pull all six and you win.
- 02
Wobbles
Another author's work shakes the tower; the third shake brings it down. A pulled block goes on top, and the top layer cannot be pulled.
- 03
Balance
If a layer is to keep one block, it must be the middle one; a lone side block topples the tower. Fewest wobbles rank first.
About the game
What is Kule?
Kule is literary Jenga, daily: a tower of 36 titles and the day's author. Find and pull the author's six works; pulling someone else's shakes the tower, and the third shake brings it down. A pulled block goes on top, and the top layer cannot be pulled.
Everyone plays the same tower; fewest shakes rank first, ties go to the faster finish. The tower is drawn in 3D and rotates when you drag it; a new tower is built at midnight.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the tower fall?
On the third shake, or when a layer is left with one side block. If a layer keeps one block, it must be the middle one.
What if I do not know the works?
Each wrong block is a shake; you have two to spare. The author's works are listed on the result card afterwards.
Why is the tower not 3D?
If WebGL is off on your device, a 2D tower is shown; the game is the same.
Can guests play?
Yes. Streaks and the ranking need a login; guest progress stays on the device.
